In the fall of 1977…

Barry Saunders entered UNC-Chapel Hill with a desire to sing close harmony. When opportunities within the Music Department proved scarce, Barry decided to form an all-male a cappella group on his own.

Barry’s vision has lasted for over 38 years, and The Clef Hangers have released 17 studio-produced albums and performed for audiences worldwide; including President Barack Obama and President Ólafur Grímsson of Iceland.

Our free LDOC Old Well Sing is December 7th at 5:30pm. We will be showcasing some holiday cheer with classic Christmas tunes and singing some our contemporary pop set.
