In the fall of 1977…

Barry Saunders entered his freshman year at UNC-Chapel Hill with a desire to sing close harmony. When opportunities within the Music Department proved scarce, Barry decided to form an all-male a cappella group.

39 years later, Barry’s UNC Clef Hangers have released 17 studio-produced albums and performed for audiences worldwide. We’re honored to be carrying forth his legacy.

Angel Lopez-Collazo (’17) was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. For as long as we’ve known them, his family has always reached out in every way to support and love us as a group of singers and brothers.

Now it’s our turn.

In the wake of Hurricane Maria, Angel’s home of Puerto Rico is suffering. With no food, power, water, or communications available to them, Angel’s family and countless others on the island are desperately in need of help. In order to help them, and the island as a whole, rebuild, we are encouraging all of our fans, friends, and families to donate to the link below ↓↓↓

To Angel, the Lopez-Collazo family, and the island of Puerto Rico: We love you, and we stand with you. You are and will always be our family.
